Edmonton to Calgary to Swift Current

Monday. Your Musical Journey begins as you are welcomed aboard your deluxe coach in Edmonton.  Travel south via Red Deer to Calgary meeting additional travelling companions enroute.  A stop is made in Medicine Hat before crossing the Alberta/Saskatchewan border and arriving in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Swift Current to Winnipeg

Tuesday. Saskatchewan passengers join the tour as you follow the Trans-Canada Highway into Manitoba, overnighting in the capital city of Winnipeg. Upon arrival join your travelling companions for an informal WELCOME RECEPTION.

Winnipeg to Prior Lake

Wednesday. Cross the Canadian/American border and travel through the states of North Dakota and Minnesota to Prior Lake for overnight and an evening of fun at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

Thursday. Travel through the Dairy State of Wisconsin and enter Illinois on your way to the industrial city of Chicago. Continue a short distance for overnight.

Friday. (3 nights) Travel through three American states all in one day:  Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee to arrive in Nashville, Music City USA. Your home for three nights will be the unique 2,881-room Gaylord Opryland Resort located adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Showboat.

Highlights this morning include stops at RYMAN AUDITORIUM, where the Grand Ole Opry originated, and the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME – a museum dedicated to entertainers, composers and leaders of the country music industry.  After lunch enjoy a GUIDED TOUR OF THE GRAND OLE OPRY.  You will visit the dressing rooms and the Green Room with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to stand “In the Circle” on stage of the Grand Ole Opry! Nashville is famous for its many nightclubs – you have a free evening tonight if you choose to visit one.

Monday. Humming a country tune, make your way to Hurricane Mills to visit LORETTA LYNN’S DUDE RANCH. Continue to Memphis, home of Beale Street, with its many jazz and blues clubs. Whether or not you are an Elvis fan, everyone wants to make a pilgrimage to GRACELAND, the Superstar’s estate.

Wednesday. Enjoy an included lunch when you visit SILVER DOLLAR CITY THEME PARK, a re-creation of an 1890’s mining town where you can browse in the craft shops and enjoy a wide variety of musical entertainment.

Thursday. This morning is free should you wish to take in an attraction or music show.  This afternoon join us for a visit to BRANSON LANDING where you’ll find many options for your lunch.  Located adjacent to historic downtown, Branson Landing has a one-mile lakefront Boardwalk and complimentary tram, featuring galleries, shops, specialty retailers and a spectacular fountain in the Town Square.  Then a special treat is in store for you when you board the magnificent SHOWBOAT BRANSON BELLE for a fantastic two-hour early DINNER CRUISE where you’ll experience fabulous Branson dining and the best of Branson shows!  The evening is free to choose an optional show or attraction from over 50 theatres.  Your Tour Director can help you with details.

Monday.  Make a stop at the duty free store and then re-enter Canada. Visit Weyburn before arriving in Swift Current for overnight.  Bid farewell to your travelling companions from Saskatchewan.
