Edmonton to Elk Island to Prairie Gradens to Edmonton

Elk Island National Park is a prairie gem that is truly close to home.  Come and see the legendary Bison herd that is helping repopulate the species across Canada and the United States.  A short tour of the park with a Park Ranger (when available) will give you behind the scenes information on all the programs at this Parks Canada centre for historic and natural conservation.  After, you will head to Prairie Gardens, a working sustainable family farm with 35 acres of heirloom and specialty vegetables near Bon Accord.  Enjoy a special lunch, followed by a gentle walking tour where you will learn about the farm’s place on the gold rush Athabasca Landing Trail, the amazing Blue Pumpkins, and intriguing heritage chickens.  Prairie Gardens is the world’s most northern Blue Pumpkin farm!  Browse and shop to your heart’s content. Return to Edmonton at approximately 5:00 p.m.

THERE IS PLENTY OF STORAGE SPACE UNDER YOUR MOTORCOACH FOR THOSE EXTRA PURCHASES!  YOU ARE WELCOME TO BRING A SMALL COOLER BAG.
