Get out of the city and explore rural Alberta!  Meet your fellow travellers as you are picked up enroute to Forestburg where you will board the BATTLE RIVER TRAIN EXCURSION, riding on a classic passenger train car to the villages of Heisler and Rosalind.  Travel into the past while visiting a vintage hotel to savour a locally-sourced lunch with entertainment.  Take a guided walk down Main Street, shop at the Heisler General Store and see CANADA’S LARGEST BASEBALL GLOVE!  Re-board the train and travel on to Rosalind for a tour and tasting at THE DETENTION BREWERY.  After your ride into history, return to Camrose for an included light dinner.  Travel home, having had a full but satisfying day in the countryside.
