Sunday. Your Close to Home Adventure begins as you are welcomed aboard your deluxe coach in Edmonton. Travel south via Red Deer meeting your fellow travellers enroute and continue to the town of Stettler, nicknamed “The Heart of Alberta”.  Ride the ALBERTA PRAIRIE RAILWAY’S VINTAGE PASSENGER TRAIN and enjoy onboard entertainment, a full course buffet-style meal and time for sightseeing in Big Valley.  Travel to Drumheller, widely considered to be the Dinosaur Capital of the World, for overnight.

Monday.  Today is all about dinosaurs!  Visit the world-class ROYAL TYRRELL MUSEUM.   This museum, first opened in 1985, is the only one in Canada that focuses on ancient life.  Come with us to see what’s changed since you were last there, including the newest section which opened in 2019.  After our museum visit, we will make a picture stop at THE HOODOOS to say farewell to the Canadian Badlands and return to Edmonton.
