Edmonton to Calgary to Swift Current

Saturday. Your journey to the Heartland of America begins as you are welcomed aboard your deluxe coach in Edmonton.  Travel south via Red Deer, Calgary to Lethbridge meeting additional travel companions enroute.  Stop in Medicine Hat before crossing the Alberta/Saskatchewan border and arrive in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.  Upon arrival join your fellow travellers at an informal WELCOME MEET AND GREET.

Swift Current to Minot

Sunday. Saskatchewan passengers join the tour as you travel through Moose Jaw, Regina, Weyburn and Estevan before crossing the Canadian/American. border.  Continue south through North Dakota to Minot.

Minot to Watertown

Monday. Travel to Fargo, enter South Dakota and overnight in Watertown.  Enjoy an included PIZZA PARTY to get to know your fellow travellers.

Watertown to Kansas City

Tuesday. Follow the picturesque Missouri River along the western border of Iowa to Kansas City.

Kansas City to Branson

(5 nights) Wednesday. Today you are on your way to Branson, Missouri for fabulous live music shows.  Enroute take an interesting jeep-drawn tram tour through the FANTASTIC CAVERNS.  Arrive in Branson for a five-night stay at Hotel Grand Victorian, centrally-located on the strip next to Tanger Mall.  Tonight take in the PRESLEYS’ CHRISTMAS JUBILEE – the very first music show to open on the now world-famous 76 Country Boulevard!

Branson

Thursday. This morning enjoy CLAY COOPER’S COUNTRY CHRISTMAS show.  Clay and his cast of 24 incredible entertainers guarantee a family friendly show.  Their singing, dancing, and hysterical comedy will keep you entertained from start to finish! Experience the magic of Christmas at SILVER DOLLAR CITY THEME PARK, enjoy an included LUNCH and explore a  recreated 1890s mining town adorned in festive holiday splendor. Browse in the many craft shops and enjoy a wide variety of live music entertainment.  Early evening experience the LIGHTING CEREMONY of the five-story high CHRISTMAS TREE in the Square and marvel at the spectacular light and sound show.

Branson

Friday.  This morning tour Hard Work U, the COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS.  This is a unique post-secondary institution where tuition is free and the students are required to work on campus.  Enjoy a visit to BRANSON LANDING, adjacent to historic downtown, with its one-mile lakefront Boardwalk featuring galleries, shops, specialty retailers and a spectacular fountain in the Town Square.    Enjoy an early dinner cruise on the SHOWBOAT BRANSON BELLE and then head to the American Bandstand Theatre to see the unique talent of the Knudsen brothers of SIX, the a cappella show with humour, choreography and incredible singing.

Saturday. This afternoon be entertained by the versatile and flawless harmonies of renowned international performers, THE TEXAS TENORS. No visit to Branson is complete without an included meal at MCFARLAIN’S FAMILY RESTAURANT, famous for its legendary Ozarks cuisine, homemade pies, unique atmosphere and entertaining hospitality!  An enjoyable finale to your day is a LIGHTS OF JOY CHRISTMAS DRIVE-THRU.

Sunday.  Your morning and afternoon are free to use at your choosing.  Your Tour Director can help you find optional shows or other activities that interest you.  To cap off your evening, enjoy DOLLY PARTON’S STAMPEDE DINNER and SHOW.

Branson to Des Moines

Monday. Say goodbye to musical Branson and travel north to overnight in Iowa.

Des Moines to Bloomington

Tuesday.  Travel to the state of Minnesota.  Enjoy some time for Christmas shopping at the MALL OF AMERICA, the largest entertainment and shopping destination in the United States, located within walking distance from your hotel.

 Bloomington to Minot

Wednesday. Your travels today take you through Minnesota into North Dakota for overnight in Minot. Share tour memories tonight with your fellow travellers at a HOSTED FAREWELL DINNER.

Minot to Swift Current

Thursday. Make a stop at the duty-free store and then re-enter Canada.   Bid farewell to your fellow travellers from Saskatchewan.  Overnight in Swift Current on your last evening.

Swift Current to Calgary  to Edmonton

Friday. Today is “Going Home” day with many memories of your travels through five American states and two Canadian provinces.
