Melinda McKiel

I have been in the travel industry for 25 plus years as a travel agent which has given me the opportunity to visit several different countries and some really exciting places around the world.  The most interesting place I’ve visited is Egypt and Croatia would be a close second.  I love meeting locals on my travels and seeing how other cultures live. I am currently looking forward to my upcoming trip to Italy.

Born and raised in a small town in Newfoundland, I’ve always had an interest in geography and seeing new places which likely sparked my interest in travel. My first travel agent job was in Iqaluit followed by several years in Yellowknife before moving to Alberta in 1998.
I have been to every province and territory in Canada except for the Yukon which I hope to travel to soon.
I especially look forward to my trips to Newfoundland, there is truly something special about that place!

In 2018 I joined Nagel Tours as part of the reservations team. For me it is very rewarding to help our clients make their travel dreams a reality so they get the most out of the experience.
