Reika’s path into the travel industry was an unexpected one, but like many great adventures, it found her. Originally from the Philippines, she moved to Canada after studying accounting in college. While her academic background focused on numbers and organization, her heart has always been drawn to the excitement and meaning found in travel.

Growing up in the Philippines, Reika had the chance to explore some of the country’s most beautiful destinations, from white-sand beaches to lush mountain landscapes. Those early travels sparked her love for nature, and today she finds peace and clarity in camping and hiking. For her, the outdoors is more than just a getaway, it’s a serene escape from the fast-paced rhythm of everyday life.

Now based in Canada, Reika brings her love of exploration and her detail-oriented background into her role as Tour Planner at Nagel Tours. Whether she’s coordinating hotel bookings, reviewing contracts, or building itineraries from the ground up, she’s passionate about creating smooth, memorable experiences for every passenger. She especially enjoys the behind-the-scenes magic of bringing tours to life, knowing she’s helping others discover the world, just as she once did.

One day, Reika hopes to visit her dream destination: Japan. Until then, she continues to travel through the eyes of the guests she helps every day and finds joy in every journey she helps create.
