Edmonton to Calgary to Medicine Hat

Sunday. Your Saskatchewan Spa Experience begins as you are welcomed aboard your deluxe coach in Edmonton.  Travel south via Red Deer to Calgary meeting additional travel companions enroute.  Stop for the night in Medicine Hat, home to the world’s largest teepee. Medicine Hat to Manitou Beach

(2 nights) Monday.  Continue your journey along the Trans Canada highway to Swift Current, the birthplace of Medicare.  Gaze at big skies and wide-open farmland on your way to Manitou Beach.  Tour DANCELAND, the lakeside dance hall that is home to the famous dance floor built on a bed of horsehair, before arriving at the Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa for a two-night stay.

Tuesday. Enjoy a revitalizing free day at your resort hotel.  Relax in the therapeutic waters of the INDOOR HOT POOL or indulge in the services of Serenity Massage and Esthetics (on your own, must book ahead).  Explore the popular waterfront of Little Manitou Lake and see all that Manitou Beach has to offer.

Manitou Beach to Moose Jaw

(2 nights) Wednesday.  This morning, watch the prairie scenery pass by on your brief drive to Moose Jaw.  Become acquainted with Canada’s most notorious city on a GUIDED TOUR.  View OUTDOOR MURALS depicting Moose Jaw’s colourful heritage, and drive by 15 WING MOOSEJAW, home to the world-famous Snowbirds aerobatic team.  Spend some free time downtown and tour the HISTORIC TUNNELS under the streets of Moose Jaw.  Check in at the Temple Gardens Hotel and Spa for a two-night stay.  This downtown property includes access to the indoor and outdoor GEOTHERMAL MINERAL POOL and is conveniently located next to Casino Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw

Thursday.  Following a leisurely morning and lunch on your own, you are invited to join the optional visit to the fascinating WESTERN DEVELOPMENT MUSEUM, the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan.  There will be ample free time for you to venture to the casino, explore the downtown sights of Moose Jaw, or take in the amenities of your hotel, including the Sun Tree Spa (on your own, must book ahead).

Moose Jaw to Medicine Hat

Friday.  A morning on the road will bring you back to Medicine Hat, also known as the Gas City of Alberta.  After lunch, hear stories about the Historic Clay District on a GUIDED TOUR of MEDALTA POTTERY.  Tonight, gather with your new-found friends for a HOSTED FAREWELL DINNER.
